My first icing nozzle set - 25th April 1985

This was the set of icing nozzles which I got for my birthday in 1985 from my best friend Moira

who saw the potential I had before I even ventured using them.

This cake below was significant as it started me on my journey and hope that everyone who visits my blog website will enjoy the other cakes I have made since 1985!


Grandma - 9th June 1985

The first cake I made was my Grandma's 90th birthday cake for 9th June 1985.  I remember being so proud of it and phoning round everyone to boast - nobody in and I eventually got my friend Jean's Mum on the phone

and I remember telling her all about it.
